Born and raised in war-torn Somalia until the age of thirteen, before moving to Harlem, New York and then on to Toronto, Canada, K'Naan is an artist with a story to tell. Troubadour, the rapper's second album features the autobiographical and heartbreaking story of a young love cut short by war, alongside more raucous material such as the rock-influenced "If Rap Gets Jealous", which features Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett.
